The Execution of Noa P. Singleton β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜†

I recently finished Elizabeth L Silver‘s The Execution of Noa P. Singleton,Β and I have to admit that I hate every single character–but–in aΒ good way.

Before I get to that let me provide you with a brief synopsis: Noa P. Singleton is on death row. She barely stood up for herself at her trial and didn’t lift a finger to help with her appeals. Enter Marlene Dixon, mother of the now deceased Sarah Dixon, who suddenly wants to plead for clemency on Noa’s behalf. Marlene wants to know whatΒ really happened, or so she says, and you’ll soon find out–she’s not the only one with secrets.
