I saw this tag on Reading & … and thought I’d give it a go. Rapid fire questions and answers, the idea is to keep the answers short and sweet… which… I didn’t do for a few of them. (This tag was created by GirlReading on YouTube)
Question 1: E-books or Physical Books?
Both. I prefer physical books, especially for reviews because they tend to pressure me more into reading them, but I also travel a lot and my kindle comes in handy for that. Plus, I get the ARC instantly when I get an advanced galley. So there’s that bonus too.
Question 2: Paperbacks or Hardbacks?
Hardback in the streets, paperback in the sheets. I like hardbacks on my shelves but paperbacks travel better in my bag… and weigh less… and hurt less when I drop them on my face when I fall asleep reading.
Question 3: Online or In-store Shopping?
Online.
Question 4: Trilogies or Series?
Isn’t a trilogy a series?
Question 5: Heroes or Villains?
Villains are always way more interesting.
Question 6: A Book You Want Everyone To Read
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
Question 7: The Last Book You Finished
House of Furies by Madeleine Roux
Question 8: The Last Book You Bought
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas
Question 9: Weirdest Thing You’ve Used as a Bookmark
My kindle…
Question 10: Used Book Yes or No?
For a text book? Yes. For anything else? No. They tend to be damaged and I prefer mine in good condition.
Question 11: Favorite Book Genre
Yes.
Question 12: Buy or Borrow?
Buy.
Question 13: Characters or Plot?
Both.
Question 14: Long or Short Books?
Both. It depends on what time of year it is.
Question 15: Long or Short Chapters?
Medium! Short chapters always feel too short. Long chapters always feel too long. I prefer chapters of varying length.
Question 16: Name the first three books you think of
The Epic Fail of Arturo Zomata by Pablo Cartaya
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas
Dividing Eden by the Joelle Charboneau
Question 17: Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas did both, to be honest.
Question 18: Audiobooks Yes or No?
YES!
Question 19: Do you ever judge a book by its cover?
All. The. Time.
Question 20:Book to Movie or TV adaptation?
TV. I Think TV adaptations have the space to fully explore the 19 hours we need to have an accurate portrayal of the book.
Question 21: A Movie or TV show you preferred to the book
The 100
Question 22: Series or Standalones?
Both

I agree with The 100. I read that book and it was probably the worst book I’ve read, the TV show is so much better!
