Waiting on Wednesday: A Court of Wings and Ruin

Every Wednesday I’ll be posting another book that I’m waiting ever so impatiently for. An idea I got from Breaking the Spine. So without further ado, here’s my very first Waiting on Wednesday!

I started reading the Court of Thorns and Roses series about a year ago on Audible. Let me just say-while the performance was AMAZING-it was definitely awkward to listen to. I tend to listen to audiobooks in the car and while I’m filing at work so listening to sex scenes while other people were looking at me was a little awkward. I actually turned my headphones down a few times because I didn’t want people to hear it!

When A Court of Mist and Fury ended. I. Actually. Screamed. I thought my copy glitched or something. And what a cliff hanger! Feyre just walks into an enemy court and-and-and-I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!

23766634Looming war threatens all Feyre holds dear in the third volume of the #1 New York Times bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series.

Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin’s maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.

As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.

    1. It actually took me a little bit to pick up too. Mainly because I didn’t want to read another re-telling. And part of me is glad that I waited-because the second book was already out. If you wait until the 3rd one comes out you won’t have the same cliffhanger wait time!
