Some Writing Assignments

I am taking two classes this semester. I have my required Core I: Theories and Techniques of Writing class as well as Fiction Workshop and I’m honestly looking forward to this semester. Both classes look like they are going to be right up my alley and will be a lot of fun.

I was talking with my mother’s friend last week and she asked me if I were being challenged in the program. It’s been one week and the only thing I know for certain is that I hate ice breakers.

DelThis week I have to write my life in 2-3 pages and a piece which distinguishes myself as my Self and myself as a Writer, which I will post here so that every one can view my revision process.

I am still promoting the fact that if I get up to 100 followers on Twitter and 100 likes on Facebook I will start sharing more of my work. Specifically I will share the first chapter of Hannah of Many Hats (a middle grade novel I’ve been working on for a while now), and I will even include the chapter art.

J.M.Tuckerman is a neurodivergent writer with a big education. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults, an MA in Writing, and a BA in Writing Arts (specializing in Creative Writing, New Media Writing, and Publication; concentrating in New Media Production), which she somehow managed to earn despite her three very loud and large dogs. Jessica was lucky enough to intern at Quirk Books and Picador, USA while earning her masterโ€™s degrees. Her service dog, Ringo, is very proud of all that she has accomplished and hopes to be on a back cover of a published book with her very soon. An avid reader, writer, and lover of young adult and middle-grade literature, Jessicaโ€™s bookshelf is overflowing with hardbacks, paperbacks, and a million half-filled notebooks. She is a proud fur-mommy to two lab/st-bernard littermates, a retriever-mix service dog, and one orange little hobgoblin cat, all of whom have made very audible appearances on the Booked All Night podcast.
